Arrogance..

I just can't seem to fully understand one aspect of human nature - it's human nature, there is no doubt about it. That despite knowing a large percentage of the world is probably suffering from hunger, we become ignorant in the moments we have something. I can't seem to understand why it's necessary for "us" to brag about wealth and appearance. Is it really necessary?

Looks - this person often thinks speaking to you isn't worth their time. They show off their glory in their appearance by not either speaking to certain people or simple brushing their hair back and forth.

Wealth - they will state it. "Oh did I mention I just bought ___ acres of land and I'm purchasing two cars". No really, do we really care to know this when you can't really help other "beings" living around you. It's wonderful that you have been blessed with such wealth that one aspect of life becomes easier. You deserve the money, surely you have worked hard for it. But there is definitely no need for you to say it with your mouth. Your hard work will be evident by the cars and electronics that we see. It really makes the other person a little bit "edgy". Often they are not sure what to say, or not sure how to politely tell you to SHUTUP about your nonsense bragging. So no, you're not any better of a human being. Not to disregard the hard work and blessings you have - but let it show, there is no need for it to be spoken.

I have come across of many, who think their wealth has allowed them to stick their nose in the air think they are better than all the others. Their colour of skin is brighter so of course they are more worthy. I can't understand the mentality and technique that is taken to point out this arrogance.

I see family members that refuse to talk to other family members simply because they think they have been suddenly glorified for having more cash. You sacrifice beautiful blood relationships because of your arrogance? I can't understand how those people who have been your blood for generations are disregarded in your head. Your ego dominates and your deprived of something so beautiful. Time will not bring back the bonds that you could have created with those that actually care about you.

My religions is so beautiful - it teaches not how to lead your life but also provides guidance on character. So why is that some people who disregard so much (values) from this religion still call themselves Muslim? Is it a trend, is it just culture? My religion promotes equality, and yet so many of these people emphasize on their wealth and appearance. (Yes, I am speaking about one country/group in particular). I don't seem to understand it. Maybe I being naive and maybe I'm refusing to go along with something that world accepts/does. There are so many reasons as to why I think like this - but I seem to lack patience for this type of attitude.

(No I haven't been bullied or bothered by someone lately) It's just something I was thinking about last day.
